There’s so much tenderness in how a doe mothers her fawn—protective but not overbearing, always aware of what’s around them. That’s the feeling I wanted to bring into this piece. I drew inspiration from the classic wildlife prints genre you might find in an old hunting lodge, but I let the brushstrokes feel looser and more contemporary, bringing in a softness that feels more alive.
Full disclosure: I looooove the idea of this artwork hanging in a nursery—it’s gentle without being overly sweet, something that grows with the space. How it's packed:
Each print comes rolled in a tube. It's easy to get it to lay flat when it arrives by following the tutorial on my blog.
