Fly fishing is one of those pursuits that looks effortless until you actually try it. There’s a particular kind of humbling that happens when you tangle yourself in your own line or send your fly hurtling into a nearby tree. But when it does go right—when your cast spools out juuust so and that little fly lands like a whisper on the water—it’s pretty spectacular. That balance of grace and unpredictability is what I wanted to capture in this piece. The brushstrokes are loosey-goosey—almost like the fly is still mid-cast, suspended in that fleeting moment before everything either comes together beautifully or goes completely sideways.
I like seeing this one in spaces where you want a bit of heritage with a modern, "designerly" twist—a fishing cabin, sure, but also an office, a study, or a baby's nursery. How it's packed:
Each print comes rolled in a tube. It's easy to get it to lay flat when it arrives by following the tutorial on my blog.
Return / Exchange Policy:
Each piece is printed to order, and as such all sales are final. If your print is damaged in shipping, I'll gladly replace it with the same piece.
