Fishing lures are little works of art in their own right—bright, shiny, and weirdly appealing even to me, and I'm not even trying to eat one like a fish would. They’re designed to be irresistible, like jewelry for fish, but of course sometimes they end up tangled in a tree, never fulfilling their true destiny. That mix of charm and futility is what I wanted to capture in this drawing. It has the precision of an old sporting print, but with a looser, more updated sensibility.
This piece belongs anywhere that appreciates a good fishing story. It’s right at home in a lake house, man cave, or even an office, quietly reminding you that the best days are the ones spent casting and hoping—when the loudest noise on the lake is the sound you popping an ice-cold beer (or perhaps an R.C. Cola and a Moon Pie). Paired with my other fishing and hunting artwork, it’s an homage to the odd beauty of tackle boxes everywhere—the hooks, the bobbers, the lures, the shiny bits of metal that—against all odds—sometimes actually work.

How it's packed:
Each print comes rolled in a tube. It's easy to get it to lay flat when it arrives by following the tutorial on my blog.
Return / Exchange Policy:
Each piece is printed to order, and as such all sales are final. If your print is damaged in shipping, I'll gladly replace it with the same piece.
